Register your Devices
Your devices will need to be registered with your Organisation to allow them to operate at your events.
Devices are registered once to your account.
Glownet registers each device’s model, serial number, mac address and other parameters allowing to track individual devices across your events and organisation.
Device Registration Requirements
To register a device, you will need a valid organisation user account.
You can register the device with the credentials of any administrator, or create specific device user accounts.

Asset ID
It is best practice to label or tag your devices with unique references or IDs to facilitate your tracking of devices.
Pick a naming convention that best suits your operational requirements depending on whether you own your own device fleet or are allowing staff to use their own devices.
Registration Process
When you launch the Glownet Application for the first time, you will receive a warning that your “device is not authorized”.
You will then be prompted to register your device by providing:
- User: username or email of the organisation user.
- Password: user password
- Asset ID: Input any reference for your device such as a unique ID, name, string.
Once your device is registered, it will be possible to stage it for any event under this organisation.
