Merchant Account
Your merchant account holds all necessary legal and financial information.
You can setup a merchant account as an individual or a company / organisation.
The information in your merchant account is used on any order, invoice or ticket issued on our platforms.
Merchant Account information

| Legal Name (required) | The legal name is the name under which you conduct business as a merchant which must be displayed on tickets, orders and invoices. Your legal name may be different from the name that appears on your Merchant Profile. IMPORTANT: Payments collected by Glownet on your behalf may only be issued to the legal name you have provided You are an individual You must use your personal name You are an organization You must use the registered name of your organization |
| Business Location | Place of residence or registration of your organization. Your business location will impact which currencies and payment methods are available. |
| Default Currency | Select the default currency under which you would like to accept payments. If multiple currencies are available in your country, you may change the currency of any specific event or invoice. |

| Tax Identifiers and Registration Numbers | If your organization is subject to VAT or similar tax requirements, make sure to add your VAT number to your merchant account for it to appear on your tickets and invoices If you are an individual, you can provide an MOF number when applicable to you. Tickets and invoices will be issued under your legal name and will automatically include your VAT or MOF number when available. |
| Taxes and Rates | You may define multiple taxes (ie: VAT) and rates that can apply on items sold on Glownet platforms. VAT on ticket sales Glownet will sell, charge and settle your tickets inclusive of VAT (when applicable). All tickets issued by the system on your behalf will include your legal name and VAT number as a receipt for payment to the buyer. VAT on Glownet fees Glownet may charge VAT on fees in certain countries. Depending on whether you choose to absorb or pass on specific fees to buyers, the VAT will be charged to the entity bearing the fees. |
| Primary Contact | Provide the contact details of your primary representative for administrative purposes. This information is not shared publicly and may contain different contact details than your public Merchant Profile. |
