Seating Maps

Glownet provides custom, interactive, multi-level seating maps.

Seating maps are produced by the Glownet team in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) from seating charts provided by the organisers.

Seating Map Layout

Seating maps include a top level layout featuring all sections in the venue.

Seating Map Seated Sections

Each seated section requires a dedicated seating chart.

By clicking on a seated section in the Seating Map Layout, users are shown the specific seating chart of this section to pick their own seats.

Seats and rows can be numbered and labeled in various schemes including:

  • Alphabetical & Reverse Alphabetical
  • Numeric & Reverse Numeric
  • Odd-Even & Event-Odd distribution
  • Other custom schemes

Seating Map Non-seated or Free-Seating Sections

It’s possible to create non-seated or free-seated sections where users are only prompted to select the number of tickets on this section.

Seating Map Overview

A full overview of all seats accross a venue, only visible to the event organiser. The view is produced by combining all section seat charts into a single view.

Tickets, Sections and Seats

It’s possible to assign multiple ticket types to seats and non-seated sections. This allows users to select which ticket type to select for a particular seat (ie: adult, child)

Changes in seating map

Any change of seating map may require a considerable effort to execute when it affects existing buyers. Such changes will have to be handled along with the Glownet team.

Relocating any buyer will incur an additional Glownet fees for issuing new replacement tickets.
